Google Rating
Three search patterns bring patients in, and most hospital websites are built for none of them.
A neighbour recommends a surgeon, and the patient searches that doctor's name with the speciality. If your consultant has no indexed page, the result goes to a listing directory or a competing hospital that gave them one. You lose a patient who was effectively already referred to you.
For anything with local intent, three map results sit above the organic listings and absorb most of the traffic. Proximity, review volume and profile completeness decide them. A hospital with a thin Google Business Profile loses to a smaller clinic that keeps theirs current.
Search engines apply stricter quality expectations to pages that can affect health decisions. Thin treatment pages with no named author and no credentials struggle, however well optimised the title tag is. Most hospital sites publish exactly that kind of page.
The first thing we do is check whether each of your doctors can be found by name. Usually they cannot, because the website has one combined team page. That page gets replaced with an indexed profile per consultant, carrying qualifications, registration, years in practice and OPD timings. Each one is marked up so search engines understand who the page is about.
Then the map pack. Categories, services, hours including emergency, photographs, and a review process your front desk can actually run. For a hospital serving a catchment area, this work usually produces results faster than anything done on the website itself.
We work from Sector 102, Gurugram, and have run SEO for Gurgaon businesses since 2019. If the website itself needs rebuilding first, that is covered on our hospital website development company page, and our general SEO company in Gurgaon page covers how we work.
A Page Per Consultant
Indexed by name, speciality and the courts of medicine they practise.
Reviews Worked Properly
A request process the front desk can run after discharge.
Scroll down. Each service card sticks as the next one slides over it.
Every consultant gets a page that can rank on its own. Full name, qualifications, registration details, speciality, years in practice, procedures handled and OPD timings. Physician markup lets search engines read it as a person rather than a paragraph. Directory sites currently rank for your doctors. This takes that traffic back.
Most patients with a local need never scroll past the map. We set the primary and secondary categories correctly, fill the service list and publish department photographs. Emergency hours stay accurate, and your staff get a review process they can run after discharge. Citations across medical directories are checked so the name, address and phone match everywhere.
Patients search symptoms and procedures, not departments. We build a page for each condition you treat and each procedure you perform, written in plain language. Each is reviewed by the consultant who handles it and published with a named author and credentials. That attribution is not decoration. It is what the quality guidelines for health content expect.
The usual technical work, judged against the one metric that matters here. Crawl and indexing fixes, page speed on mobile data, MedicalOrganization and Physician schema, and a monthly report tracking appointment bookings and calls rather than impressions. If a month moves rankings but not appointments, the report says so.
Each of these is a different page, and a general services page ranks for none of them.

Local & Reviews
The Business Profile is rebuilt and a review process goes to your front desk.
Condition Content
Condition and procedure pages get written, then reviewed by the treating consultant.
Measure Appointments
Reporting tracks calls and bookings each month, not impressions.
Your Doctors Stop Feeding Directories
Right now a patient searching your cardiologist by name probably lands on a listing site. An indexed consultant page takes that visit back, and it is the single highest-intent traffic a hospital receives.
Map Pack Work Done Seriously
Categories, services, hours, photographs and a review process. For local health searches this sits above everything organic and usually moves first.
Content That Meets the Standard
Named authors, stated credentials and clinical review on anything medical. Health pages are judged more strictly than other content, and anonymous treatment copy struggles regardless of keywords.
Measured in Calls, Not Clicks
Call tracking and appointment events are configured at the start. The monthly report leads with enquiries, because rankings on their own have never filled an OPD.
A Page for Each Condition
Patients search symptoms and procedures. One page per condition, linked to the consultant who treats it, captures searches a department page never will.
You Keep Every Account
Search Console, Analytics and the Business Profile stay in the hospital's name. If you stop working with us, nothing has to be handed back.
Filter by area. A single clinic needs a fraction of this. A multi-speciality hospital with forty consultants needs most of it.
One of them is a content standards question rather than a technical one.
A combined team page gives none of your doctors a page to rank with. Separate profiles with qualifications, registration and speciality take back traffic currently going to directory sites, and that traffic converts better than anything else a hospital gets.
For local health searches three map results sit above the organic listings. Proximity you cannot change. Review volume, category accuracy and profile completeness you can. Most hospitals have never had anyone own this properly.
Patients search for what is wrong with them. Knee replacement, angioplasty, IVF, dialysis. A department page covering orthopaedics in general will not rank for any specific procedure, and the specific searches are the ones with intent behind them.
Search quality guidelines expect health content to show who wrote it and what qualifies them. A page reviewed by the consultant who performs the procedure, with their credentials stated, is treated differently from anonymous copy. This is not optional on health topics.
The medical council code limits how practitioners advertise, and SEO copy can drift into claims about outcomes. We keep content informational and factual. Your medical director should approve the final wording, which is the same advice we give on the website itself.
A ranking report proves activity, not results. Call tracking and appointment events show whether the work is producing patients. If rankings rise and bookings do not, something is wrong with the pages and the report should surface that.
Search competition here follows the hospital map. The large multi-speciality names along Golf Course Road, Sector 38 and the Sohna Road corridor dominate the broad terms and spend accordingly. The opportunity for most clinics and mid-size hospitals sits in specific procedures and in proximity. A patient in Palam Vihar or Sector 56 searching at night is not travelling across the city. Nursing homes and single-speciality clinics in Sector 14, Sector 10 and the newer Dwarka Expressway sectors compete almost entirely on the map pack. Our office is in Sector 102.
