Compliance search volume spikes on fixed dates everybody in the profession already knows.
Searches for income tax return filing multiply through June and July and then collapse. A firm that publishes its ITR guide in August has written something useful for nobody. The deadline calendar is public and fixed, so there is no excuse for missing it.
Taxation, audit, advisory, company law, all on a single services page. Each of those is a separate search with separate intent. Somebody looking for GST registration help will not find a bullet point, and the page ranks for none of them.
The ICAI has its own position on advertising and solicitation by members. Agencies that have never worked with the profession write persuasive marketing copy and leave the firm holding an exposure it did not ask for.
We start with the compliance calendar, because it is the one thing about this profession that is entirely predictable. GST returns monthly, TDS quarterly, ITR in July, statutory audit through September, advance tax four times a year. Content gets written and republished to land before each window, not after.
Then we split the services page. GST registration, GST return filing, ITR filing for salaried individuals, ITR for businesses, company incorporation, statutory audit, TDS returns. Seven pages instead of one, each matching a specific search, each ranking on its own. The copy stays factual and within what ICAI guidelines allow.
We work from Sector 102, Gurugram, and have run SEO for Gurgaon businesses since 2019. If the website needs rebuilding first, that is covered on our CA website development company page, and our main SEO company in Gurgaon page explains how we work.
Content Timed to Deadlines
Published before the window, not after it closes.
One Page Per Service
Seven specific pages beat one listing everything.
Scroll down. Each service card sticks as the next one slides over it.
We break the services page apart. Each compliance service gets its own page covering what it involves, which documents are needed, the statutory timeline and what happens if the deadline passes. Specific enough to rank, useful enough that somebody reads to the end and then calls.
The compliance calendar runs the content plan. ITR material is live and refreshed by the end of May. GST guidance gets updated monthly. Audit content goes up in August. Being visible during the window is the whole point, and the window is on a published schedule.
A founder who has just registered a company in Udyog Vihar searches for a CA nearby. The Business Profile decides whether you appear. We complete it properly, categorise it against the services you actually want, and build the local signals around the sectors your clients work in.
Accountancy sites tend to be small and slow, usually because of a heavy template nobody has looked at since launch. We fix the speed, add the schema so services are machine-readable, and check that enquiry forms handle financial details with some care, because people attach documents to them.
Service-specific and often urgent, because a deadline is approaching.

Five steps, and the compliance calendar sets the order of the first two.
Calendar Mapping
We map the statutory calendar and work out which windows you can still catch this year.
Service Split
The single services page is broken into one page per compliance service.
Pages Built
Each page gets document lists, timelines and the consequences of a missed date.
Timed Publishing
Content goes live ahead of each window and is refreshed every year.
Measure Enquiries
Reporting tracks enquiries by service, and tracks them against the calendar.
Visibility During the Window
ITR content ranking in July is worth many times the same content ranking in October. We work backwards from the deadline so the page is already in position.
Service-Level Rankings
Seven specific pages rank for seven specific searches. One page listing seven services ranks for none of them, which is where most firms currently sit.
Copy Within ICAI Guidelines
Factual description of services and qualifications, with nothing that reads as solicitation or comparison. Worth confirming the current position with your regional council, and we draft to the conservative reading.
Startup and SME Enquiries
New companies in Udyog Vihar, Sector 44 and the Golf Course Road offices search for a CA nearby. Local signals and sector content put you in front of that.
Content That Earns the Call
A page with the document checklist and the real timeline does more than a paragraph of positioning. People read it, trust it, then call to get it done.
You Keep Every Account
Search Console, Analytics and the Business Profile stay in the firm's name. Nothing needs handing back if we stop working together.
Filter by area. A two-partner practice needs a fraction of this list.
The first is about the calendar, and it is the one most firms get wrong.
A page needs weeks to settle into position. If you want to rank for income tax return filing in July, the content should be live and indexed by late May. Publishing in the middle of the window means ranking just as demand disappears, which happens to a lot of firms every single year.
GST registration and statutory audit are different searches with nothing in common except that your firm does both. Put them on one page and you compete for neither. Seven separate pages is the single highest-return change available to most accountancy sites.
Every client asks what papers are needed. Publishing the list is useful, ranks well for document-related searches, and demonstrates competence without any promotional claim. It also saves your team the same explanation twenty times a month.
The Institute has a position on advertising and solicitation by members. Factual description of services, qualifications and experience is the safe register. Comparative claims and persuasive marketing copy are not. Confirm the current position with your regional council rather than relying on an agency's reading.
Rates change, forms change, due dates shift. Updating last year's ITR guide in place keeps whatever ranking it has earned. Publishing a new one every year splits the authority between two pages that compete with each other.
Total enquiries tell you nothing useful when demand is this seasonal. Enquiries broken down by service and read against the calendar tell you which windows you captured and which you missed. That is the only way to plan next year.
Demand varies by district in a way that is worth planning around. Udyog Vihar and Sector 37 generate incorporation, GST registration and payroll compliance searches from manufacturing and trading businesses. Cyber City, Golf Course Road and the Sector 44 and 53 offices produce transfer pricing, international taxation and statutory audit enquiries from larger companies. Sohna Road and Sector 48 have a dense concentration of small businesses and professionals filing returns individually. Our office is in Sector 102.
